Reps. Harris and Vick to hold town hall meeting in Battle Ground
Reps. Paul Harris and Brandon Vick are inviting 17th and 18th Legislative District residents to meet with them Saturday at the Battle Ground City Hall at 11 a.m. The meeting will take place on the second floor in the city council chambers.
“Transportation tax proposals are being discussed, the future of the Columbia River Crossing continues to be a hot topic, I am hearing a lot of concerns about Obamacare, and we want to address any questions citizens still may have about the 2013 session,” said Harris, R-Vancouver. “We want to give the residents of our districts the opportunity to discuss these issues or any others on their minds.”
“I am looking forward to this very important opportunity to chat with the citizens of the Eighteenth District about the results of the 2013 legislative session, and discuss their particular concerns heading into the 2014 session,” said Vick, R-Felida. “I have been honored to meet with a number of constituents since we have been back home and I hope that this town hall will help us be able to better advocate for the citizens of Southwest Washington.”
The legislators will provide some brief opening remarks and then open the meeting up for questions. The town hall meeting is scheduled to end at 12:30 p.m.
If constituents have any questions before the event they can contact Harris’ office at (360) 786-7976 or Vick’s office at (360) 786-7850.
