Last week, Rep. Paul Harris, R-Vancouver, joined House Republicans to lay out the case against a bill (SB 6058) that would link our state’s carbon market to California and Quebec. House Republicans oppose this policy and the Climate Commitment Act, which has placed extraordinary financial burdens on low-income Washingtonians. Instead, they support Initiative 2117, which would repeal the Climate Commitment Act.
